Cozumel Surfing has been operating for more than 20 years and has taught thousands how to surf. Nacho prides himself on being the surf ambassador, pioneer, and entrepreneur who opened a surf school on the island.
Everybody knows Nacho; you can see him cruising around the island with boards on his truck looking for the perfect wave.
We guarantee that you will have a wonderful time learning to surf and that your experience will be unlike anything else offered in Cozumel.
Meet your instructor
Nacho, a Cozumel native, has been surfing since 13 years old. He has competed all around the world, including the Canary Islands in Spain and the legendary waves of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Drawing upon his local knowledge, we ensure that your surf experience is as radical as it can be!
There are many different “breaks” on the island, so each surf trip is customized to the group’s abilities.
While surfing year after year, Nacho has also been a longtime Cozumel lifeguard and coach, and he has taught children as young as 5 to respect the ocean and learn to surf. Everyone on the team holds valid marine park cards and CPR and first aid certifications.
